It looks like it's pulling textures from the game's mailbox for the wood part? I don't know how to fix that but I can recommend iCad's little mod to make it invisible from hood view if it bothers you too much. The trash can looks great and picks up recolors too but the mailbox doesn't. Here's how they look in neighborhood view. Sims took out trash just fine when testing but since I don't care about them I did not test the other trash can interactions like kicking it or salvaging food. Green is the default color but it comes in all of C&K's colors and there's an invisible recolor too that came with the original default and I decided to leave in because why not. The trash can is based on this default using this 4t2 conversion. Sims delivered and received mail just fine when testing but I could not be bothered to animate the flag and little door, so there is some clipping - surprisingly not too bad! Oh, and if anybody's interested in recoloring them I'm fairly sure you need go dig in SimPe for the mailbox instead of trying to recolor the default package (that works for the trash can though). sorry! You only get these 10 patterned ones. I'd love some plain recolors of the metal and there are a bunch of great TS4 recolors out there still but making recolor packages obliterates any desire I have to create CC so. The default colors are the ones shown above but I recolored the wood part in black, white and the three AL wood colors, and converted these recolors for the metal part (little preview below). The mailbox replacement is based on this default using this 4t2 conversion.

The slightly tricky thing is that Artemida’s recolors have the endsleeper textures linked to the highsleeper textures. Note - Recolors of the original mesh(es) will still be shiny, but are compatible. There are a few shiny chrome (ride eternal?) ones too, using the same smoother texture as the plastic.ĭOWNLOADS (MF, meshes by Chrissy included, edited by me)Ĭredits: mesh by Chrissy, Iakoa’s Gimp curves, IgnorantBliss repository tutorial The wood colors have plastic accents, either black or gray. They’re retextures too, I guess, since I made new woodgrain and plastic textures for them. (So endsleeper is required for highsleeper to work.) Then I recolored. The loft is now repositoried to the regular bed. It took some doing, but I got it working. More on this later.) Then, since the regular bed and the loft bed use the same texture, I got brave and decided to learn how to repository them. I took the reflection off, but this only affects the base and new recolors. The original is shiny, so wood textures wind up looking metallic. I tinkered around with the mesh a little bit.

You need some buy mode cheats, but it’s very easy. The loft bed can go over the regular bed, obviously, but because the loft is its own piece, you can put the regular bed directly under it, angled out like I show here, over a desk, or maybe a chair, a pet bed, a crib, etc. The regular bed is nice enough that I’ve used it on its own. Please read it if you want to use them *and* my recolors.) This set is so versatile. I found it through Artemida’s recolors, which I love too. The Ohio bed set by Chrissy of BPS is one of my favorites. Like most of my color palettes, this one is by no means set in stone forever, but I like it enough for now that you may see a few choice clothing options pop up in this color from time to time. These came about because I wanted an older, darker-looking color palette that probably has no actual relation to actual historical fashion choices. Mahogany and Walnut is simply base game wood colors.ĭamask is from Michelle’s Vintage colors. Paprika is from HafiseAzale’s Skunky color palette. Ocean and Foxglove are from Curious B’s Any Color You Like palette. Lama 2 is part of Lama’s medieval wood colors. Grape and Ruby are from Poppet’s Memories color palette. Tagetes, Hollylock, and Viburnum are from Kinu’s Seishun Colors. >.įlashpowder, Fulminant, and Time Bomb are of course by the talented Pooklet. And if they look familiar, it’s because they are mostly from color palettes I already use aksor3 because I am lazy. Welp! Another year, another new color palette! Once again, none of these colors are my own.
